1                    <!--[endif]-->Scope – This specification will outline the requirements for 8” lace up style, black polishable leather/nylon non metallic uniform footwear with side zipper and super comfort system.

3          Description

3.1       Design – This 8” side zip uniform footwear is designed for Uniform personnel, which require the ultimate possible foot protection and comfort.  Lace up construction provides support to the foot and ankle region.  Exclusive Visible Gel System outsole by design to insure superior cushioning and slip resisting protection.

3.2       Construction – Cement Bond, exclusive VGS rubber sole and EVA midsole..

3.3      Sizes and Widths – Footwear is available in all of the following sizes.

            Men’s Medium:  4-12, 13, 14 and 15 including half sizes through 12.   Men’s

Wide:  6-12, 13, 14 and 15 including half sizes through 12 as measured by

Brannock device.  Unisex size scale is based on two sizes up from the man’s size

scale.  A men’s 4m equals a Women’s 6m.

3.4       Upper Fitting – All upper fitting is 8-10 stitches per inch, B69 thread, single needle collar and quarter, double needle vamping, foxing and eyestay. All seams waterproofed with J9502AE urethane sealer.  Bluchers are barred for extra strength.

 3.5      Leather – Upper leather 5-5 1/2 ounce, Waterproof Black Full Grain Polishable leather.

3.6       Lining – Super Knit lining to wick away moisture for drier, cooler, healthier feet.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->3.8              <!--[endif]-->Footbed – Exclusive Motion Sensor contoured, removable, with dual density polyurethane foam with memory foam top layer and a brushed polyester cover for moisture wicking form a complete foot comfort system.

3.11     Outsole – Proprietary VGS, fuel, oil, abrasion and slip resisting rubber with a

unique super gripping traction design. Debris releasing angular lug is self

cleaning.

3.12     Counter – Thermo formed counter providing greater heel stability and support.

3.13     Box Toe – XL-20 Thermoplastic to maintain toe shape.

3.14    Lace – 54” Black Nylon stay tied design.

3.15     Hardware - Rust proof speed lacing system and YKK non metallic coil zipper are

tested to be the best in the footwear industry.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->4.1  <!--[endif]-->     * Do not use the footwear if the leather is damaged or the sole shows significant    

wear.

* If footwear has been exposed to dirt or contaminants, clean immediately with water or a damp cloth with mild soap.  Always clean before treating.

* Treat the leather with a quality footwear silicone product only on a regular schedule.  This will help preserve the leather.

* Allow footwear to dry slowly at room temperature only, never by a heat source.

* Keep the insides of footwear dry and clean with powders and disinfectant sprays.  Consider a second pair.  This allows one to dry out thoroughly while the other pair is being worn.

* You can achieve three times the wearability on two pairs of shoes by alternating your wear of each daily.
