E-MM Battle Suspender
The Emdom-MM Battle Suspender is another collaboration between Emdom USA and MM from militarymorons.com. This project started since the end of year 2006. Our goal is create the best suspender which has an optimal balance of all key elements what operators want: comfort, compactness, simplicity, low profile, heat / moisture management, abrasion resistance, light weight, stability, and load support. Now, here is the solution !The Battle Suspender is designed to be comfortably worn under vests or body armor. It has a front "H" & back "X" design, plus horizontal straps at the chest and the upper back. The shoulder straps are padded with Dri-lex layer (sweat control fiber). The chest strap has a thin quick release snap, which facilitates quick don and doff. The overall configuration does not stretch or slip. It removes the weight of your belt from your hips, redistributes it on the shoulders, and relieves stress on lower back and eases back pain and tension. The design has proven to provide extreme comfort during long duty periods, superior security without strap slippage off the shoulders. In addition, we provide four removable "Velcro keeper" loops, which can be positioned on the inner Velcro loop surface of most duty belts to prevent annoying sliding of the suspender straps along the belt. This ensures the suspender doesn't move from where it supports during running and moving. To make the Battle Suspender extremely low profile and comfortable, we target the shoulder straps and the suspender hardware. We use 2" wide shoulder straps which provide good support and remain low profile. For comfort, the shoulder straps are lined with a unique layer of Dri-lex (sweat control fiber). Dri-lex technology is well-known for providing comfort, moisture management, breathability, quick drying ability, and abrasion resistance in both military and sport gear. Yes, this is the same fabric used in the Kifaru backpacks. The outer surface of the shoulder straps has multiple 1" webbing loops where you can optimally position the chest and upper back strap, or use them for other gear, like web dominator buckles (for hydration tube routing). The whole Battle Suspender is fully adjustable using 1" metal slides. We use ITW Ghillietex military 1" metal slides (IR reduction capable) which are thinner, stronger, and have a better grip than plastic slides. In addition, the X junction of the suspender can be rotated, and the angle changed to fit different body sizes and shoulder widths. The EMDOM Suspenders come in two sizes: S/M and L/XL. On the S/M, the front and back 1" straps are 24" long and the shoulder pads are 18" long. On the L/XL suspenders, the front and back straps are 32" long and the shoulder pads are 21" long. The following sizing recommendations are meant as a guide; use a tape measure and measure your exact setup if you're in doubt, or in-between sizes. Allow an inch and a half at each end for securing the ends through the metal sliders.
S/M - fits up to 5' 8" in height, with a rigger belt. If you're wrapping the strap around a very wide 4" or more wide MOLLE belt instead of attaching it to a D-ring or PALS strap, the L/XL size is recommended. Excess strap can be cut off or just routed a couple of times through the metal sliders.
